Futurities and Open Games Jackpot

The 2010 Lee-Jackson Spring Fling which is normally held in April at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington has been cancelled. Each September, the S-BRAA also hosts the Lee-Jackson Classic at the Virginia Horse Center. At the Lee-Jackson Classic, we sponsor the VA Bred Futurities, S-BRAA Open Futurities, and Jackpot Games. There are over 130 classes under four judges over two days. This show is one of the largest Appaloosa shows on the East Coast and is attended by people from Maine to Florida and as far west as Texas. Each of the above shows have generous hi-point awards and added monies to the Jackpot Games and Futurities. We also have generous awards given out during our Year End Awards Banquet & Meeting. Several clinics and trail rides are also held throughout the year to help raise funds and get owners, family, and friends together for a good time and for the benefit of the breed. For even more fun, we hold silent auctions at most of our events and shows. We are really excited about our new upcoming events and hope to see you there. You don't have to be a club member to enjoy most of them. However, we would love for you to join; we always welcome new friends, fresh ideas, and many more spots!

The Shenandoah-Blue Ridge Appaloosa Association is the largest regional Appaloosa Club chartered by the ApHC in the state of Virginia. S-BRAA was established in 1977 to promote and preserve the Appaloosa horse.
